When the team fails to meet the ridiculous expectations placed on them this year, which player will the witch hunt posse single out for all the blame? I reckon Horne or Berrigan are the two favourites with Radders a close 3rd. Hall, Yeamo and Houghton all joint 4th. I think Long could throw 3 interceptions per game and still avoid any responsibility from most on here. Will be interesting to see.

I think we'll significantly improve upon last season but that's not the question! It's the trend of the majority of fans feeling the need to single out individuals for a poor team performance that has become the norm over the last few seasons. You know during the low points it will happen, I'm just curious as to who people think it will be this year?

I actually have not spoken to any FC fan who has ridiculous expectations, all agree we should see some solid improvements, and all agree we can hopefully get back to looking forward to matchdays...

Indeed, I think the only people with unrealistic views are actually fans of other clubs that aren't quite so jaded about our beloved FC#s recent form.

Saints supporters will tell you that Longy "disappears" for long periods in games and also has a lot of shockers - but, they'll usually also tell you that he's the man you want on the big occasion or when your backs are to the wall because he'll make something happen when no-one else can. I hope that our pack look after him - I'm pretty sure anyone putting a cheap shot on him will feel the wrath of the new FC pack.
