The balsawood one was debatably legal, Washbrooke and Lauiki going late on Dobson weren't, the washbrooke one was almost carbon copy of newton on Long.

On topic, I would have thought Long would be at Hull royal pretty regularly for check ups on his eye / cheek after such a major injury, would expect his specialist asked to see him after the game to see how it held up.

given that HRI has a specialist Eye Hospital I doubt long was anywhere near casualty for a check up, he'd have either been at the eye hospital, or in the portakabin at the back where the eye clinic is.

Also, he lives in Wigan, his surgery was carried out in Wigan, it's more likely he'd be seen by someone at Wigan, if he is even seen by anyone on the NHS, he'll have been treated privately anyway.
