| Watching the game closely personally I think with Sailor it's about systems structure and thus coaching. Who knows what he would have been like under Carty? For me watching Saint last night the difference from them in the first round to now is exactly 'nothing' as they looked confused and disorganised as they did back then. Remember how underwhelmed some were on here about Seizer when he signed (and on what I had seen on his past form in Super League I was concerned myself) but the strength of our current squad is the structures they have been indoctrinated into, they buy into it and understand it, (from Academy to the senior citizen players) and when times are tough they stick to it. Our lot at present play for the coach and his structure and thus each other. If you go to training one of the only thing Cartwright majors on is sticking to the system whilst still expressing yourself. Saint might have a great plan on paper and some good players but they aint buying into it and following it and that's down to the coach. Old boys promoted rarely works out with too many previous allegencies. Its interesting isn't it how imported coaches are doing so well in Super League whilst at Cas, the Giants, Saints and perhaps now Salford, British coaches and promoted ex players club's are struggling, whilst those who bring the NRL mentality and professionalism into our game are doing well. For me, Wellens could be the first coach to go with Brown and McGuire not far behind.

| Catalans are such a strange one, they have every advantage possible to put together a winning team but seem to always fall short.
It's a great looking project though for any potential coach, wonder if tomkins fancies it?

| Ryan and Nikorima ruled out long term at Salford leaving them with only 18 players for this weekends trip to Wakey. Would it be worth offering to loan some of our better younger players that aren't quite playing (Moy, Laidlaw, Kirby, Hutchinson, Charles, Kemp, obviously not all of them) but need games every week to keep developing or would it destroy them getting battered every week at salford?

| Zane Musgrove sacked by Wire, apparently after a bust up with a team mate.
