Last year we'd have buckled under that pressure resulting in some poor and lazy tackling, gaps would have opened up in defence, and our heads would have gone once a try was conceded. Last night was just such a breath of fresh air to see. It's only one game and there'll be some stumbles along the way but this was a great way to start the season. The major difference between last night and the past 2/3 years was attitude, commitment, work rate and organization. If we can replicate that over the next seven months we shouldn't have to suffer a repeat of recent times. If we have a similarly convincing win on Friday I'd put your house on us completing the treble, it won't take much before we all get carried away on here knowing us lot

To be fair to Lane, thought he had loads about him when he first broke through, but when your teams continually fighting a rearguard action season after seaon, well, when are you gonna see the full potential in anyone?

Plus pretty much no decent half backs for the last 3 or so seasons

Smith,- crap ---- Sacked Grix - poor - inherited a shocking squad which he never looked like improving. Lanes competition for a starting spot atm is Chamberlain & Fash!. Not hard to work out why he is always picked.
