Quote ="Theeaststander1"Again Dave read my previous post, our youth set up roadmap has started to get the respect/attention it deserves in the past 2 years, it takes time
Ruan brown wynne all young projects
Chamberlain Hardaker oggy holmes all players that are at the end of their careers
There’s levels to this game, no bite here but you can’t be throwing shade at these types of signings the 3 above wouldn’t even be good enough to carry our water bottles on to the pitch
Sorry for the insult but you’ve turned a genuine conversation into a goading match against our signings so if you wanna play top trumps I’ll play all day long, there isn’t one player in your setup that gets close to our starting 17 at the moment and that’s a fact potentially ese ese but he’d need a tougher pre season and fitness levels aren’t good enough'"
The difference in those signings is the ones you've listed for Rovers will block the path for any of their youth players. The ones for Hull are made with the end result in mind of actually benefitting our youth by giving them the knowledge they need to make the step up. Hardaker (troubled time off the pitch but has undoubtedly been a superstar on it) will be invaluable for our England academy centre and also highly rated young full back. Holmes has nearly 300 games experience to pass on to our young second rower but looked very good last year.
Alongside Sezer to help with players like Charles and Kemp, Rapana to guide Barron, Martin and Moy. Our signings will steady the ship next season, but they have also been made with long term thinking in mind with regards to giving our young players every opportunity to make it as SL players. Rovers are doing the opposite and trying to buy short term success with seemingly no youth to fall back on should that not work out
Your whole post proved to be a load of e when you claimed Ese'Ese would only 'potentially' get in your team when you have plodders like Luckley and Brown, or Sue who Ese'Ese can comfortably play more minutes than (plus the other 2 props listed above)
