Quote ="His Bobness"I know that Hull have a lot of loyal fans and if you add the kids for £1 then there's no reason you cannot get a decent total of season ticket sales. Obviously giving away a season pass for £1 might secure future fans so I'm not knocking it but in terms of gate receipts it puts you miles behind Rovers.
Rovers are now very close to 10,000 season ticket sales, the new East Stand Seating area which adds 1,000 to capacity is 85% full with passholders. The problem for Rovers is that even the increased capacity is unlikely to satisfy demand. Frankly it's a problem the club didn't expect to have, the club have outgrown the stadium.
Rovers will be turning away supporters in 2025 which is good and bad in equal measure.
The young generation of East Hull have taken to Rovers and it's incredible to see the amount of young faces at Sewell Group Craven Park. It's a problem for Rovers local born group of entrepreneurs to tackle but with such a wealth of business talent who would put it beyond them?
In summary there is no doubt that Hull Fc will sell a lot of season passes but not as many as they need to. Rovers will sell more but not as many as they could do.'"
