Those seem positive but what is a contested drop out? Do they mean if the kicker doesn't deliberately kick it out on the full or roll it less than 10m?

Disappointing to see that they are not doing anything is regards to getting rid of the ref’s call of try / no try before handing it to the VR. For me this is one of the things that needed addressing and getting rid of.

Could clubs abuse that new offside rule? Players could stand deliberately offside and wait for an error.

It's another subjective decision for the ref to make

I’m sure club’s will look to exploit any of the rule changes.

The deliberate offside from a kick could see a throw back to previous rugby league era when Full Back’s used to have a kicking dual and all the other players stayed where they were waiting for an error.

Also disappointed that waving your arms at the PTB in East Hull is still a legitimate way to gain a penalty!
