| Many Hull fans, talking about youth been paramount, I fully agree and without youth, you can't be a top team consistently the salary cap doesn't allow it. Mikey Lewis only costing £50k on our cap is testament.
Since been awarded an elite academy, Rovers have invested in youth massively.
They've brought in quality coaches and increased every part of the academy setup. The building of facilities at Craven Park for the academy is the next goal. The changes came to soon to make a huge difference in the crop of academy players who where moving through the scholarship setup but you only have to look at the current Scholarship players. Lots of very highly rated players who are unbeaten having played Wigan, Bradford, Saints and Warrington. Should Rovers have had the same level of home grown players as Hull without the same investment in youth or the ability to offer the same pathways as Hull, absolutely not. What we've done is even the bar in what we can offer players when they are deciding on Hull or Rovers, or even Cas & Leeds. We've also brought in players now from Wales and London. Rovers academy will start delivering, not this year maybe shoots appear next year but the year after we'll start to see the fruits of alot of investment, time and effort.
With the first team I firmly believe we are building something really good in East Hull, probably a year early to really challenge for a trophy but the club are still actively improving all areas of the first team squad and facilities.

| [quote="Hasbag":28e82h9v]Aren't you the guy on the Rovers forum who claimed "radio silence" from FC regarding a member of the coaching staff who left 8 months ago and that was announced at the time.
Your comments mean absolute zero.
If anybody wants an idea of the type of loser this guy is, just take a look at that Days Since A Major Trophy account on twitter from a few days ago. If he isn't posting on this forum then he's over on the Rovers forum STILL posting about FC, and still wrong with the info he's posting there.[/quote:28e82h9v]
Also telling everyone on Twiter we are trying to sign four salford players and then telling us we don't have much cap.
Spends all day on Twitter pretending to know everything about every club, but gets nothing correct, regularly gets in arguments and petty fights with Salford, Leeds fans.
Basically is a massive...... who hates Hull and every other rugby team.

| Speaking of radio silence, I wonder why they never announced that Rhys Lovegrove had left the academy set up...

| Got to say, with the latest scaffolding/tarpaulin addition, New Craven Park is fast becoming the stadium that you build with pieces you receive in a 100 weekly magazine subscription.
For a club that boasts big investors, I don’t know why they don’t just extend the rest of the East Stand and build a proper 3k South Stand? After that they could redevelop the West Stand and be in danger of having a decent ground.
They have a solid fanbase, but it seems odd that the Board have seem little commitment to re-developing the ground.
In the meantime, Rovers fans will be hoping that there is no rain or have high winds at any of their home games.
