Interesting draw in parts.
You would expect Wigan, Warrington and Cats to go through without too much bother, but the other five ties all have some degree of uncertainty about them.
Normally, you would pick Leigh and Cas to run out easy winners in their ties, but given Leigh's mounting injury list and, by the sound of things, Castleford's indifferent form, it's by no means certain either will come through.
Could have been better, could have been worse is our scenario, home tie would have been nice but Huddersfield have been difficult to gauge so far from what I've seen of them. We'll start as underdogs but no reason why, given a fair wind, we couldn't pull off a win. Think a run to the semis, at least, would put a little bit of confidence and excitement into our season. Defeat and we will be looking at a long tail end to the year with not a great deal to get excited about.
