Quote ="jools"Funny because one of your fans was quick to tell me just a couple of weeks ago how he had a direct hand in about 40% of your points last season. That’s with his missing games! You would Potentially have been looking at relegation without him- certainly things would have been a lot more uncomfortable.
But now he’s gone suddenly he’s not all that.
Connor will be a bit part in the giants team, not the only thing going like he was at Hull. That will take the pressure off him, reduce his frustrations, I think that will enable him to be even better.
Hopefully with TS coming in he will get FC playing a better brand of rugby than the dire stuff you were used to under radford and hodgson. He’s known for allowing his teams to play what’s in front of them and not boring one up stuff. Hopefully give the fans some entertainment.'"
Just don't know what your fascination in Hull FC is since Connor left? Your initial post wasn't just simply quoting what Watson had said either as you claim bearing in mind the first and last part of your post.
As for your latest post its again utter tripe, very few if any have not said Connor isn't all that, in fact quite the opposite. What has been said is although he has undeniable talent he has issues that do detract. Again very few will argue that we would have been in a very different position without last season but also we are more likely to be in a better position this coming season due to the recruitment of a better, quicker and fitter spine that offers creativity/options across the spine rather than just a single player, plus the arrival of TS as Head Coach will improve that.
Your last comment about boring one up stuff is rich coming from someone supporting Huddersfield who are renowned for playing a spoiling game and even with the arrival of Watson and the good signings, for me you still play predominantly a conservative style of rugby that's not particularly entertaining, which probably cost you the CC if I'm honest.
For me its disappointing Connors gone as he is a talented player but as most have said its not the end of the world he's gone and it's probably the best for both our club and Connor himself, as its not just about talent in a team game its also very much about attitude and application.
