I believe it’s a good gesture by any club to offer any discount no matter what it is. Friends for a fiver got the same reaction a few years ago when it was introduced as did cheap tickets to local rugby clubs. Who said “You can please some of the people all the time and you can please all the people some of the time but you can’t please all the people all the time” wise words.
