| Tom Briscoe (Leeds) - still seems very strange seeing him in any other shirt then an FC shirt. Apart from his final season with us, he was always a stand out player, gave us some very memorable moments "ah Briscoe" - "he's still going, HE;S STILL GOING" to name 2.
great 5 try haul at Wembley last season aswell against....erm...its on the tip of my tongue....but doesn't seem to have hit the heights at Leeds (personal heights) as he did at Hull, and seems to be injured a bit these days. But always like to keep an eye out to see how Tommy is going, just not against us.
Tom Lineham(Wire) - another Tom, but this time, The Flying Pig that is Lineham. Tries to game ratio is still very good, like it was with Hull, but this pig doesn't seem to be flying as high with Warrington as he was with the Airlie birds. Shipped out on Duel Reg the other week by Tony Smith. Reading about him on the Wire Forum, their fans aren't convinced with him. With his "strange" running style, his defence and under the high ball. But you cant deny, he causes havoc in the defence and knows how to get over the try line. Think Pearson got did a good bit of business, selling Lineham. Not as missed on the wing as I thought he would be.
Joe Westerman (Wire) - Another great bit of business from Pearson here IMO. Was brought to us with great potential, and started to show glimpses of that in his last couple of seasons, but since he left, SNEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYD seems to have come into his own. Seems to love having the ball in hand more and having more responsibility.
Again, isn't tearing up trees at Warrington and not really read much about him from the thoughts of the Wire fans.
(id like to know if/or how much our plenty count has dropped since he left the club)
Danny Tickle (Castleford) - After a short and injury hit spell with Widnes, its good to see Ticks has found himself another club, and where better the CasHULLford. We got his best years out of him, and was released at the right time IMO. hopefully for Danny, he gets himself a longer contract at Cas, but in honesty, I think, come end of the season he will call it a day.
Setamanta Sa (Widnes) - looked like a shroud signing at the time, but for one reason or another, didn't really work out for Sa at Fc. Seems to be playing ok with Widnes this season, but not even close to being the player he was at Catalan.
Aaron Heremaia (Widnes) - bit of a fans favourite with the Black and White Army. Split the fans when he left, and when things didn't seem to be running smooth with us, fans still questioned letting him go. Personally, I think we are seeing the best of Danny Houghton playing the full 80mins, since Azza left us. Another player I like to see how he is getting on with his new club.
Ben Crook Castleford - What a fall from grace. Super League Dream Team one season, to the ibis the next. what happened there?
Crooksey went to Aus to ply his trade there for a short time, before returning to CasHULLford. Seems to be getting played regular, but not the same player he was in his Dream Team season.
Sam Moa (Roosters) - I remember him wobbling on for his debut from the bench at Odsal. The "Project" that was Sam Moa. What a favourite he became with Hull fans! Remember talking to him at work before he left, and although it was family reasons he left us, he seemed really cut up about leaving Hull FC. He told me that if he ever came back to Super League, there is only one club for him.
Not a big follower of the NRL, but I know he is busting it up in the NRL, getting called up to the NZ national side on a regular basis. Great to see Sam going well.
Mickey Paea (Newcastle) - TBH with you all, because our forwards have been outstanding this season (for me, best pack in the Super League) I had forgotten about Mickey, until I saw one of the banners at work this morning. As I mentioned above, im not a follower of the NRL, so don't know how he is going. So any updates would be appreciated.
Jordan Rankin (West Tigers) - One of my favourite players in recent times for Hull FC. Bit of a 'Man Crush', I even named my son after him, although people could think he was named after another player because of his surname.
Jordan seems to keep an eye out on how FC getting on, from the other side of the world. With a touching Tweet to the Faithful when he left the club. Again, update on his progress would be appreciated.
Please feel free to add any other players to the list, with how where they are now and how they're getting on, such as Miller (just remembered but no time to write about him) Daniel Holdworth, Jordan Turner, Jodie Broughton, Nick Scruton, Matty Head etc

| Of all the players mentioned, I'd only have Moa, Briscoe and perhaps Paea back. That said, our pack is the best it has been in a VERY long time, and the front row trio of Bowden, Watts and Taylor are young, English and on fire. They could easily be the cornerstone of our pack for the next 5-10 years, which is an excellent state of affairs to be in.
We need to be tying down the majority of the squad, particularly the young guys, to ensure continuity over the next few years, and use our recruitment on one or two positions a year.
Hodgson has done very well since leaving, but as alluded to, he had a lot in his way at Hull, and Houghton plays better doing 80 minutes. We'd never have seen the Hodgson of now if he'd have stayed with us. The game time just wasn't there for him.
