You and I appear to have quite different views on what constitutes being outraged. To me, this thread just has people saying that Radford made a mistake, handled the question badly, and it's perhaps indicative of a lack of man-management skills. Plus you suggesting he had no choice.

You're right that there are plenty of other sticks with which to beat Radford, but I don't understand why you think it matters which sticks people choose or even seem to want to pretend that people are creating this one. It might be a relatively small point, but it is a valid one.

It's because I don't think it's valid point at all. I would actually praise Radford for not criticising Abdull having been given a direct prompt to do so. In other words I actually think he handled it well when asked a specific question. That's where you and me differ. Not sure I can put it any clearer than that.

Not even close to outrage, IMO, merely observations.

I also don't think the fact that it could have been worse means he handled it well and is worthy of praise, either.
