Hull City now have to rely on parachute payments. They could lose £30 or £40 million next season. They have the deferred transfer fees to pay, the players' wages, the possible losses from Livermore's 2 year ban, if he's found guilty of taking coke, pay the non playing staff, rent for the Kc etc. There are rumours about a substantial drop in season ticket sales as well.
According to Assem Allam they are spending £2 million a year on the academy. The half a million from the Premier League they get from Category 2 status is now a substantial amount given the drop in income.
The Council can put a stop on Hull City getting that money. Phil Webster said they will by taking legal action. I have my doubts. I don't think they have the bottle. Also Assem Allam donates money to the Labour Party.
