I live near Harrogate. Last year, at approximately 6:15 on the Friday night, I made the decision, based on 'can I afford it' to come to the FC/KR derby. I paid on the gate.

I'm not in a position to come to Hull and buy a ticket. This means I have to decide by the middle of the week whether I'm going. And as the story I've provided demonstrates, I might not do this.

So, if they are going to provide this over-complicated-but-obviously-cheaper-for-the-SMC system, then it's really easy - have either some walk-up pay-on-the-gate turnstiles in operation, or Pearson needs permission to have his kiosks - which ends up costing FC more money. I'm assuming we'll get a rent reduction for providing the facilities Allam has obviously decided to remove. No? Oh, fancy. If this doesn't happen, I'll probably be even less likely to bother coming to games. Sad, really.

And I rarely use the stadium catering. It's always been a joke.

The article printed in today's HDM is vastly different to the official club statement.. surprise surprise..

I could have, I might have even dreamed it but then again I may have been posting the comments made by Adam Pearson in a recent edition of the Hull Daily Mail.
Perhaps it's not beyond the realms of your ability to locate said HDM and decide for your self if it was made up

It wasn't beyond me, thanks, I'd already seen it in today's online edition, and having also read the club statement regarding ticketing, I'll stick with my original comment.
As you posted yesterday, I guess it must have been in the paper copy.
