I thought Shannon McDonnel was supposed to be mentoring Shaul or has he gone back home

Sounds like it is going well and Shaul has the right attitude for this training.

It also sounds like somebody should have had a word about his positional play before now. I think it's the weakest part of his game. If he can fix that then he's going to be a good fullback.

I honestly think having him working with Hodgson is really having a positive impact on Shaul, he cut out pass to Talanoa was excellent last night and a type of pass that Hodgson use to make. Defensively and his positioning has also improved massivley.

Agree 100% - he's come on massively since last season and if it's Hodgson that's helped do it then a big thumbs up to whoever took the initiative to get him in.
