Personally I'd be suprised if Miller was on less than 100K given the NRL market and our circumstances.

You might think he is on much less or it's none of our business and that's fine, however I think it's very relevant when you look at why we continue to struggle at half back and don't have a top 4 team when we are a big, long-established SL club spending to full cap.

If he fails after being given some time then I agree with you. Our recruitment has been haphazard and done under pressure for years. It's very difficult to turn it around especially when there is a regular change of coach and the various previous coaches signings have long contracts.

Just for comparison, Miller's competition for his place this year will come from a former GB international with over 300 top-level appearances and a fellow Australia schoolboys player, Nicklas will be up against someone who hasn't been full time since 2010 (albeit talented in his prime) and last year's West Hull captain.

That's not just because a few fans were a bit unfair to Nicklas.

Also, if Miller doesn't produce the goods and didn't happen to finish the season with us, I very much doubt he'd be having to look for a championship club to continue his career.
