Quote ="Robbo4"Wane is still living off the Mcguire influence.
I say the same thing every time our coach supposedly looses the dressing room, tell the players to get on with it or they are out the door. It's not upto the players to decide who the coach should be it's there job to implement whatever game plan the coach comes up with.'"
I agree that Wane is reaping rewards for what McGuire did, but he's not lost the dressing room as he? He demands perfection, and usually gets near it. When on song, Wigan are the most well drilled team in my opinion, and Shaun Wane has to take a lot of credit for that. Every one of those players knows their job, and they do as asked. If they don't, he tells them and he usually gets a response - He's said this in many post match interview.
I'd much rather take the wrath of Gentle than Wane, after a loss. Gentle comes across to me a bit soft and wet and I just don't think he gets any of the players respect, because quite frankly he doesn't deserve it. Given the fact he cannot coach offence, and cannot create a ruthless edge within his team, we'll all be having this discussion at the end of the 2014 season. I hope I have to eat some humble pie, but I just don't think he is up to it.
