For all that we played the wrong game for the conditions and badly in attack at that I don't think you can question anybody's effort out there. I was more cheesed off by the Tompkins try than anything else, defeat I can accept but that gave an extra kick in the teeth that wasn't really deserved.
Still on the positive side hopefully this has been a learning and character building experience. I don't subscribe to the view that you must lose first before winning but if some lessons have been learned then it isn't a total waste.
