I'm in my 53rd year now and I've been trying to convince myself that at my age all I need now is to be entertained. Well yesterday my eleven year old daughter had to put the top back on my bottle of water because my hands were shaking so much ................... this is a very special club, one of the few with an actual soul.

A great read Wilf. Things don't get much better than yesterday and having started my love affair with Wembley with the 59 final against Wigan (heavy defeat) and the following year against Wakey (even heavier defeat) I am so looking forward to this being our time to win there. If we could get a hynoptist to make the players believe every game was a cup game, we'd win the double every year. Lets hope we get huge numbers travelling so that everyone can say "I was there" when we finally got the Wembley monkey off our backs.

That final 10 minutes where like a visit to the dentist, the defensive efforts of the team were amazing but my memories of just how good the game was are non-existent, I had to watch it again today on Sky-plus to re-live the experience - it's to much like hard bludy work watching Hull in a semi-final.
