As for the whole "bent officiating" post, I think some people need to grow up. Do people honestly hand on heart think referee's are bent (just to stop the PC brigade, bent meaning corrupt not homosexual)? If so, I implore you to go watch a different sport as your paranoia will ruin it for the rest if us.
Picking a few isolated incidents does not "prove" anything. There could be a myriad of reasons why he gave on decision and not another, the simplest being he didn't see it and the most complicated being them perhaps not being as identical as you think. Sometimes people get away with things. Sometimes people are deceiving. Sometimes players run the ref up the wrong way and put themselves under the spotlight. Playing the ref is a huge part of the game, and we have not been able to do that for a number of seasons.
Lets face it ,it was like the Alamo for Hull.Wigan are a class side who can stuff anyone on their day.At least they didn`t give up,and the fact that some were not really fit to play ,but did says a lot I.M.O.
