I don't know what Willie is expecting hull to do, their not exactly going to say take your time while you decide what you want to do whilst inturn scuppering any of chances of signing anyone else. Setting a deadline is fine by me, look at the carvell and briscoe scenarios.
Let's be honest if the club weren't declaring what they have offered him then fans would be on their back saying they haven't done enough to keep him, when it appears they have.
