It's alot harder to 'wrap up' a taller bloke, making the chances for an offload are higher (obviously they need the skill and vision too).
The point of impact is also higher too, meaning they are more likely to go over the top and land on their fronts, allowing a quick ptb (they need the strength for this too).
I don't think it would necessarily be something the coaching staff looked for when making signing a prop, but it definately adds an extra element to the side. Shorter blokes have their attributes too.
