park and ride as you aproach the first junction on the left as you come under the humber bridge, (hessle turn off, you will see the park and ride on the right as you come off), also if you carry on driving past all the car show rooms there is a village hotel 100-200 yards away that do meals, (may even bump into the wire squad if they are staying there)
Home Farm which is just off the Humber Bridge turn off is a nice place to eat. Good value and an indoor and outdoor play park for kids. Close to the park & ride or the ground. Welcome to King's Town Upon The River Hull or 'ull to the yocals sayicon_wave.gif

Lots of options but their is no doubt for visiting fans who do not know their way around Hull the best option is the Park and Ride. Just off the main road into Hull free parking and I think £2 return on the bus which takes you to the Stadium and picks up from the same point after the game. Also easier to get away from the ground as the bus takes you away from the any congestion.
One option if your early is when coming off the main road towards the Park and Ride is to continue passed the right turn to the P & R about 100m onto a roundabout. Turn left and about 150m is the Norland pub which does food. Just trun right at the mini roundabout to the car park entrance. Only 2 minutes back to the park and ride after your pint and meal. Children also allowed in the bar with adults if eating.
I've done the park and ride before, it is a good option.
Buses are pretty frequent before and after the game and you're straight back on the M62 afterwards.
