Quote ="tonylRobin"thats a bit like saying George best was poop cos he only played for Northern Ireland. Tom Briscoe will probably never be a world cup winner thats true, but it doesnt mean he isnt/wont be as good as any of them other players, and are the Aussies full of world class wingers? if so why do they play 2 f/b's on the wings in the S.O.O games, (Boyb, Hayne)'"
Most outstanding three-quarters are interchangeable these days. Just because their clubs want them to get their hands on the ball as much as possible from full-back doesn't make Boyd or Hayne any less of a winger!
As for your first point, Hayne made far more impact playing for Fiji in the World Cup semi-final than Briscoe has in any international against the 'big two'.
Hayne, Boyd or any of the others mentioned wouldn't have embarrasingly spilled that 'dolly' catch that Briscoe did in the Four Nations either!
