FC Voices would like to thank all the fans who queued from daybreak at the Boulevard today to obtain the seats that were available from the old Threepenny Stand.

By 9am there were over 130 people in the queue meaning that sadly some fans were left disappointed. Such massive interest meant that the 400 seats that were intact had all gone by 9.50.

The other seats that had been in the stand had been vandalized and broken apart and those distributed were the only undamaged ones left from the seating stock.

Thanks for your patience and understanding to both those who got seats and those who were disappointed and didn't.

400 / 3 is 133 so none should have been disapointed.

Dont see all the fuss about em myself, never had any affection for the seated threpenny myself, was the first signs of a move to favoruring the corporate side of the fan base

None dissapointed except all those who arrived after 9-00am. The seats were not all in three's either some two's and ones about 200 fans probabaly got seats actually, and it was just a pity that demand outstripped supply!

me neither, its only a 15year or so old stand, and we hardly enjoyed our best years whilst it was standing. But each to their own.

Well done to the guys at FC voices, just a quick question though why were the seats not sold it would have been a great chance to raise a few quid for Steve Prescott, I'm sure there will be a good answer but through i'd ask the question.
