| Hull FC and FC Voices are offering supporters another unique experience next weekend at the latest Hull FC Fans Forum, which will include the launch of the brand new 2011 strips!
The third and final fans forum of the year, organised in conjunction with the independent supporters group, FC Voices, will take place on Sunday 3rd October at the Black and Whites main club sponsor P&O Ferries.
Supporters will have the opportunity to fire their questions to a select panel from the world of Hull FC, which will include new signing for 2011, Will Sharp.
The event will be the first appearance of Sharp as a Hull player, as the forum looks to the future, with a panel selected to suit that theme.
U20’s head coach Andy Last and first-team star and U15’s coach Lee Radford will be two of the guests, focusing on the development of some of the club’s bright young stars as well as their roles with the first-team.
A future England starlet and Supporter’s Player of the Year, Danny Houghton, will also be there to take questions, accompanied by Black and Whites Chief Executive, James Rule.
Continuing the theme for the future, the panel will then be joined by U20’s captain, Liam Cunningham, who will be on hand to meet supporters and sign autographs.
Aside from the forum, the players will be showing off the brand new 2011 strips for the very first time and not only will supporters have the opportunity to meet the players and see the strip, they will have the chance to become the very first fans to wear the new kit and be photographed in it if they wish.
To ensure that as many people as possible have access to the event, P&O Ferries will be hosting two forums on Sunday 3rd October.
The first event will take place at 11am (Guests to arrive at P&O Ferries at 10:15am) that will then be followed by an afternoon session starting at 1:30pm (Guests to arrive 12:45pm).
A bar will also be open serving refreshments and food for supporters.
Pete Allen, Chairman of FC Voices, said, “Once again we are delighted to have been able to secure another fans forum with yet another interesting twist!
“The opportunity to include the kit launch and use P&O Ferries was just too good an opportunity for us to pass over, and it will we hope, bring some added interest to the event for the fans, as will the chance to meet some of our heroes, none more so than new signing Will Sharp.
“We believe that demand for tickets will be high and the idea of having two separate events is in an effort to accommodate as many fans as possible.”
He added, “Working with the club we have tried to offer something different and unique with our fans forums throughout the last few seasons, to keep them fresh, innovative and ultimately providing the best possible access to Hull FC for the supporters, so the switch to a weekend forum on this occasion is a positive one too.
“Fans often comment that evening events are a bit inaccessible for families, and so we have been looking at promoting one that takes place on a weekend so this fits the bill and we look forward to the event.”
To ensure there is equal opportunity for all supporters to buy their tickets for what will be a hugely popular event, tickets for both sessions will go on sale at the KC Stadium Retail store on Saturday 25th September priced £2.
Tickets are expected to sell out within days, so fans are encourage to buy as soon as possible to avoid being left disappointed.
Supporters buying tickets will be asked to fill in their details at the KC Stadium Retail store when they buy their tickets as well as confirming they have photographic ID to ensure they are granted access to P&O Ferries on the day.
Supporters will have a choice of whether they want to attend the morning or afternoon session, subject to the availability of places remaining at each event.
