Quote ="Howlin' Coyote"As you say, most us us realise that Radford's actions cost us the game, however Bailey "The Most Feared Man in Super League"?
The fact that many Leeds Fans see Bailey as some helpless old lady in the events of today is laughable. He intentionally, imo, stuck his elbow into someones head numerous times. He is a niggly cheap shot merchant whose tactics worked perfectly today. So whilst many of your fans fawn over him I for one am truly grateful that he doesn't represent my team!
I prefer proper Prop forwards who play the game in the right spirit such as Mark O'Meley, Jamie Peacock.'"
This is exactly in the spirit of the game! I applaud both sides of this tonight. Even tho Bailey hardly made any real contact (if we are all perfectly honest) neither did Radford either. One punch landing should not be a red.
If we go all soft like wendyball and have a panic attack at even the slightest show of aggression, we will never beat the Aussies again. The last time we actually beat them in something that mattered (ie the 70 series) we did it by being harder and tougher than them.
Just look at SOO, our game looks so soft and tame compared to that and they look at us as a laughing stock. Until we get our game to match that sort of aggression, we will never win a thing again. Granted, the game has changed but the old players must feel embarressed by how soft it has got.
Coming from a Leeds fan, I would happily never win a Championship again if it meant we could beat them at least once in my lifetime. Surely, winning a series is more important than a league game?
