With yesterday's results now in, the top 8 situation is looking a good deal clearer.
Without wishing to state the obvious, week 1 of the play-offs is going to be something along these lines (assuming Hudds win):
Wigan v Hull / Leeds
Sts v Wire or Wire v Sts
Hudds v Cas/Crusaders
Hull / Leeds v rovers
Like I said, thats assuming Huddersfield win their final game, which will leave them in fifth. I reckon Saints will grab the home tie against Warrington, whilst I can see Crusaders turning over a rovers side with not too much to play for.
This leaves our game against Leeds. Winners go to Wigan, losers welcome rovers to their place. I honestly don't know how this one's going to pan out. Leeds appear to be rediscovering some form (particularly in the try scoring department) at just the right time. I'm just wondering/hoping if we have one more big performance left in us for this season and a win over Leeds is overdue.
Ultimately, I have a sneaking feeling that Saints will turnover Wigan at OT and take the title (just a gut feeling).
