Quote ="Stan2363"His defence has been woeful at times this season, the amount of tackles he goes on for gets himself in the worng position and then ends up flapping his arms, he is good going forward and does take 3 to put him down but apart from his first touch when he came on against saints and set up a try i don't recall him setting up many others this season, including bombing a certain try last week where we had a big overlap, instead choosing to go himself and blowing the chance, could be good but need a lot of work imo

I'll give you a lot that yes but surely it's worth investing another year of time and coaching in him. Look at Moa, we wern't sure what we would get with him but with the right coaching and time on developing him we have unearthed a potential star of the club, he looks better and better each game no reason why Lauaki can't end up the same. The guy's a unit, we need a big drive - Feka proved what a big guy can offer tonight, so did Moa. IMO he is worth a bit more time.
Quote ="sarah loves o'meley"the only props we have that offer a lot to the team are O'meley (who did brilliant until he got injured) and Moa (who seems to get better with every match)
Lauaki is mainly a second row, but will need to sort that temper out'"
I'm not talking about postionally, I just meant forwards in general. We don't have a lot of go forward amongst the squad in general. I just think given time and coaching like Moa Lauaki could be in the mould.
