We just look much calmer when Berro is on the pitch, this is taking nothing away from Houghton im 1 off his biggest fans and hope he is at Hull for years to come.

IMO having Berro at hooker for a full season without him having the weight of carrying a pi** poor team around the park from 3 or 4 different positions will be the 1 of the biggest positives from signing the likes of Long and Fitz. When you look at our pivotal positons of 1,7,9 and 13 there isnt many better around in SL as a collective unit imo.

Helps massively too that he has a world class 7 playing next to him organising things imo

Think Berro is going to step up to the mark this year. Agree with all posters who say how comparitively rudderless we looked with him off the pitch. But on the other hand, Houghton is a great young hooker to step in. It was a big ask of Houghton last night in such a hard game and he didn't let us down but Berro offers that bit more. Agar did the right thing to spell him so soon after his op'.

Berrigan was trying to do it all last year. The only real international class we had with a lot on his damaged shoulders. No wonder he looked jaded.

Now there's more class and a universal exemplary attitude we are seeing his true capabilities in his proper role as hooker. He should be on for the full 80 but only if he's fully recuperated. He's too big a gem to risk losing again.

we always look a better side when berro is on the pitch. when he runs out of dummy half he issolates defenders really well take our first try for example took the markers out and laid the ball onto tickle with just one man to beat. but some times he seems to take a long time when passing to the first man when we are on the oppositions like like against saints he got the ball patted out of his hands twice and against Huddersfield the deffence seemd to be in longys face as soon as he got the ball
