I have just come back from the meet the players at the kc stadium and would like say a big THANK YOU to all of the players and coaching staff for there time and effort on the day. Everyone one of them gave up there time to sign books, shirts,flags,autograths books,rugby balls and many more things.They chatted with supporters laughed and joked even though it must get a bit tireing smiling for all them flashing cameras and phones. But i must say what an absoulute gentlemen Dennis Moore was chatted with me and even gave my son some advice on his rugby career even though he is 9yrs old.The event was as good success as it should of been, could of been bit more organised IMO but hey nothing goes smooth nowadays lol. But 1 thing i can say is that every Hull fan i spoke to was really looking forward to the rugby season starting.I must also say how well the young lads that had now entered the 1st team conducted themselves really well throught out the day?

Not only did he refer to our beloved neighbours as "the darkside" but he also managed to throw in the word "oxymoron". I consider myself to be pretty good when it comes to the English language but what the hell does that mean ??

It's a figure of speech refering to a contradiction in terms, e.g. "a deafening silence", or in this example a friendly derby match.

As the saying goes...The airlie bird catches the worm...

I felt that it wasn't a case of it finishing early, just running it's course earlier than they thought. No players left without being seen and from what I saw everyone left happy.

I'm not sure how they could've padded it out further either tbh. Clarky tried his best by interviewing a few players and Dennis but IMO he was fighting a losing battle as people were very ignorant and talked all the way through the interviews.

Maybe doing the interviews before getting signatures like previous years might be an idea for next year or just cut it down to 2 hours instead of 3.
