Most of the people who wanted rid of Thorman would say that Agar should have acted sooner. I think it likely that there was pressure from the board (and, perhaps, Sharp) to keep him on the park. Ultimately, Agar had to act and, whether the timing was poor, act he did. At the end of the day, Thorman did not produce the goods for us. I wish him well, as I do anyone who pulls on the black & white jersey but he cost us too many games - particularly with his defensive frailties - to keep him at the club.
