I would just like to say a big thank you to all of the posts on here about my Nana. It has been heart warming to see that she touched so many black and white hearts.
On to rugby, my Nana was the first person to take to me to see Hull FC from the early nineties and I have been going home and away ever since, which I am truly greatful for. Some great memories.
I remember one early game at The Boulevard, stood with her on the scoreboard end bunker at the rail, i must of been about 8 or 9 or somewhere around that time, and Tim Street absolutely knocking some player out and my Nan shouting to hit him harder.
Its just a shame that The Hull Supporters Club isnt there anymore because that was her home away from home. I know she did a lot for people in there and even set Chico up with his now wife after pratically forcing him to go other and speak to her.
Always will be missed by me, the family and many others of the old faithful young and old.
Again thanks for the posts and she will always be watching FC and still shouting at 'the overpaid, over the hill, aussie players.'
Funeral is on Thursday 13th August at 1.30pm. Taking place at Chants Ave crematorium large chapel. Family flowers only donations to Castle Hill intensive care (chhicu)
All family and friends welcome to service, then to the west hull liberal club on coltman street.
