The Australian half-back Brad Davis is set to become the oldest player to appear in Super League after completing his return to Castleford
The former Wakefield captain, who was 36 in March, takes the record held by the winger Paul Sterling, who was 36 years and 44 days old when he played for Leeds against London in the last round of Super League 2000.
