Quote ="+ Hull FC +"We made some bad decisions during the match this evening.
We were 12-8 up during the second half and had the opportunity to kick on and get a hold on the game and what did we do....take the 2 points!?
Its all good and well going 6 points up but I knew as soon as we did that we would lose. Why? Because Wakefield still only needed one try and a Danny Brough drop goal was always going to come.
We have to face the facts here. We are officially the 2nd best rugby league club in this city and we were beat by a Wakefield team that came to play one game....a simple one!'"
Taking the 2 at that point was the right decision IMO, it puts us a converted try in front and we get the ball back, Granted in hindsight it did us no good but the majority of teams in a close game will always take that 6 point margin.
