Putting all banter/rivalrly aside for one moment I was proud to be a Hull RL fan today.

It was a great atmosphere (the best in a SL derby yet?), a great occassion and by all accounts not one hint of trouble before, during or after the game.

I think knowing that we will only meet you twice this season added an extra spice, unlike last year when we seemed to meet every other week.

Well done everyone...all together now...

Am i right in saying it was the biggest crowd of the day by 5 people ??

The week leading up to a derby game for me is one full of excitement and anticipation.
This week after what has happened over the last few games it was one of dread.
However I was surprised to not feel that bad at the end. Normally I would have been gutted.
I know we didn't play well, AGAIN, especially the first half but one of the reasons I go to games is to be entertained. That last 20 minutes i WAS entertained. It's been a bloody long time since the adrenaline was pumping at a game like it was yesterday.
Also had to be the most entertaining derby yet, bet the neutrals loved it.
Probably the best atomosphere too.
Have actually woken up this morning without a single urge to kick the cat or the dog....

It was a cracking game,I thought we were going to snatch it when Thacks burst towards the try line.
Credit to all fans that it wasnt a war zone after the game.

I have too agree ! the only thing bugging me is the trolling dobbers, but i can live with that, as a hull f.c supporter on the back of the teams recent drop in form i just hoped not to have a cricket score! for this i am truly thankful. thought it was ours for the taking at the end rovers looked like they had run out of energy, f.c controlled the urgency to push up.

just hope now they sort out rumoured back room squabbels and return to winning ways before the seasons past retreval.
we only have league to concentrate on so lets push on.
