I have noticed this season that when we look at our bench there is nobody who you can look at and change the game if our plan A (only plan) isn't working. At one point we were 16 6 down and our bench was Lee Cusack Dowes and Moa. Thats never going to change game.
Until Hull stop signing players who ware brilliant workhorses butwith no particulat flair we will go nowhere. I admire the graft players sure but at this level we need better quality.
Thacks and Manu are good impact players, However thacks seems to have fallen out with Agar and Manu is expected to play 80 mins thus he conserves his energy more and gone are his breaks etc.
As well as Manu being on for 80 the opposition are running at him much more. His work rate and committment has been very good this year but effectively forced on him by the opposition coaches, certainly epitomised by Quins. Which of course leaves him less potent as an attacking threat.
