Lift the ban on drinking beer on the terraces at KC Stadium
Quote This is one problem that has affected many Hull FC fans during the move to KC Stadium in 2003. Every other ground in the UK allows its supporters home and away to enjoy a nice pint of lager or bitter whilst watching their favourite rugby league or football side.
At the KC Stadium however, they expect you to wait in a 10 minute queue, get served by a half-witted fool and then drink the alcholic drink in under a minute, otherwise you will miss the first or second half of the sporting match.
This is not only losing the SMC money but it is really annoying the fans, both Hull FC and Hull City.
All of the alcholic drinks are sold in a plastic holder so injury could never be caused to anybody other then getting wet, should the alcholic drink spill or tip. Spectactors are however allowed to bring fizzy drinks onto the terraces and if spilt, would cause the person/s to get wet in the exact same way. They are also allowed to drink tea and coffee which if spilt, really COULD injury somebody!
Finally, since the introduction to all Friday night home games for Hull FC fixtures in 2009, I find it appropriate that the majority of fans will want to enjoy a nice cold beverage at 8:00PM, before they head off into the town centre and/or down Anlaby Park into the local pubs.
This ban is absolutely ridiculous and the only people that will dis-agree with me on this matter are re-covering alcholics and just generally people who dont like beer.
