watched the south africa V ireland game last night,and i thought it was disgusting that every time the black south african prop got the ball,he was subjected to strange animal noises coming from the irsh fans.i am glad i am a R.L.supporter and we don`t behave like this.what`s your thoughts on somethimg like this?

Dunno, never watched it. I do remember a game against bradford in the late 70's at the Boulevard when the coloured winger, david barends, was thrown so many bananas from the threepenny stand that he could have opened his own fruit shop. I also remember henderson gill picking up a banana a fan had throw from the threepenny stand and eating it.

They were definitely shouting the beast, it happens every time he plays. I can understand how you may have misconstrued what was happening if you’ve never seen him before but it is just something that has caught on with RU supporters all over the world now.
