Just been reading that myself, total non-story, if we are that desperate in a year from now we may as well just pack up, he is past it now FFS.

Great bloke and player, but if we go for Long in 2012, we may as well sign Horne up too!

The club has nothing to do with the story.

Hopfully like he says we will get 20 plus games out of him.

Be shocked if he didn't retire and into coaching at the end of next year.

I know its a bit of a non-story but I can see it to be honest, no doubt followed by some ridiculous spin from Rule about how we have looked around but no one better available, we have some great kids coming through for 2013, Seans influence on the training ground, we did ok without our first choice halfback pairing for most of the season again and Horne and Long are rearing to go in 2013, Grade A licence, any of these excuses seem to keep the fans happy.

Well obviously not, cos you're still moaning at every opportunity and every news story good or bad!!

Fair enough complain if you're not happy, but dont turn everything into a club vs the fans row. Post something constructive and how you'd like it to improve and I dare say it will be done!!

Who will make that decision?

Good chance we'll start 2012 with long and horne as our 1st choice half backs IMO

It's an outside chance not a good one, just becuase Long might want to carry on playing it does not mean we will want him.

What relevance does that have?
