The issue is you happily and willingly bought Cas cast offs and literally swapped McShane for Moore. It shouldn't be a one way street to Wakey out of Wheldon Road - that fault lies on your chairman for going along with it.

Because when the team 'on paper' go on the pitch they are crap. No more to say. They don't care, most of them are not good enough, coupled with no passion, no heart no creativity, no organisation.....etc. It's all been said and nothing improves.
As of now I couldn't give a toss anymore. I may change my mind and go to the big one but I doubt it.
That's how I feel after 55 years of watching!

I've been thinking along the lines of winning and losing pay a lot recently myself Wakeytrin, but unfortunately in these days of contracts and capping etc it wouldn't be possible. Alright in days of winning and losing pay we still got the poorer teams but at least the players generally were trying.

There's a big difference between releasing a player when you know you've got a better one coming to replace him and releasing a player because you've found them out for not being good enough.

Prime example was Paea, good player that was probably crocked before he came to Wakey but a gamble that failed.

My point is that everyone knew Tansey and Moore weren't worth signing, everyone that is except the club.

Taking Cas cast offs isn't a bad thing per se, but who ever advised the club that these two were a step forward was either having a laugh or making money on the deal.

In the case of Gibson, he does represent a step forward. Maybe he's not the next Jamie Lyon but he's a solid dependable centre who does the basics well.

Absolutely agree 100% about Tansey and Moore......seriously!!!! What an utter disgrace.....whoever got that deal through was either blind, drunk, blind and drunk or on the take somehow....can anyone seriously believe that they would be signed by any other SL club.

Bradford don't have any better than Wakefield to work with , however they are stronger in key positions. Our pack must dominate the game next week we then need to improve in all other positions. It can be achieved but it's a tall order. Bradford will fancy their chances but nerves on both sides will play a key role. It's mega important to get off to the best of starts and build a lead. I don't think either club did themselves any favours over the weekend , but Bradford in particular would have been better fielding a better side and putting more pressure on Trinity. It's almost impossible to call but For me Wakefield have home advantage and hopefully will pull through. I expect fergy and Ryan will be full of beans for the game .
