Alex Hurst is currently looking for a team to play for and hopes to get a go in super league. For those of you who don't know who Alex is, he played wing for Scotland in the world cup.

From what I remember, he was an aggressive winger with a good work rate. Could do a good job for us?

On a serious note, I would rather give Kay the shirt too. But I'm not too sure what's happening between Kay and the club.

He'd be ok if he is the one I'm thinking of but he is not the finished article and there are other faster lads around.
As said, if we are going to go with an existing super league player who isn't perfect, we might as well give Kaye a better contract and keep him.

There must be more to it and Kaye must have been offered a 25k a year contract surely as he could be given the 5 WTW jersey.

But by the same token, would London have signed Kaye on more and if Scottish, would he have been selected for Scotland?

Alex Hurst is actually only a year older than Liam. I was going to say he should be judged as a kid but actually they should be judged as equals.

Been officially announced today , Liam Kay has signed for Leigh next season .

That's good news .

I know I'm biast, and admit Hurst ain't bad , but he's no better and I don't think as good as local lads we've had and dissmissed,don't know if Hurst is in the plans but if he is I can see know why our coach was critisiced so much at hull ,wouldn't take risks.,refused to give local lads a chance the thing that hurts most is folk on here back this system a coach should be judged on his ability to turn potential into super league standard don't care what reply I get but the Aussies we've signed although not as much as poore won't have come cheap if I'm wrong I'll hold my hands up but looks no difference to last season or 2or3seasons ago at hull
