I couldn't understand MJ not playing - I assumed it was because he was injured - seems he was dropped. Sorry don't get that and it obviously backfired.
Lyne and Tanginoa have not performed well for ages so why play them?
I said on an earlier post that it was time for the senior players WP has kept faith with to the repay that faith. They haven't and some heads should roll.
Get some younger players in who WANT to play for the cause .
Our defence at times is shocking and our attack absolutely clueless.
We need to go back to the drawing board and fast because we're in freefall to the championship - and we'd struggle there!

We were awful last night

Leeds we’re equally as bad but we’re able to complete there sets and put our full back under pressure more often than not

Other than Dave who tried his heart out as ever to both create and get the team moving forward and Gaskills kicking Which kept us in the game in the first half I’m really struggling to pick any positives

Also worrying there is no talk of transfers to us

If we do survive the drop I don’t see how it will be any better next year

I can’t recall a darker time to be a trin fan in terms of on the pitch

If we can’t fix the teams performances all the hard work MC has done off the pitch is going to unravel

He’ll certainly get banned for that ,but didn’t help us last night ,and that Grub grabbed a brace for them . There was also what looked like an horrendous spear tackle that went unpunished but it was too far away to see who effected it and who the recipient was .

Watched highlights and the Bentley one is a red if its on TV. Frustrating that we are not on TV much as we lose out when refs don't have the technology at hand to make a better decision

Wonder how things would have panned out if we'd have taken either of those 1st two early chances with the game at nil nil. Fwd pass given to disallow Lineham's try then within minutes Lyne (?) throwing that pass over Lineham's head with line open. Bit like Hull KR away a few weeks back.

Just went about his work I guess. Don't recall him being responsible for any errors or 50 metre breaks.

According to the stats, Whitbread, Fifita, Butler and Hood made no errors, and Fifita Whitbread and Butler didn't miss any tackles or give penalties away
The rest made 18 errors and 38 missed tackles.

How many offloads did we make if you don’t mind me asking

With the errors Butler managed a massive 3 carries and Hood 1. I'd hope they wouldn't be making errors with those stats. Fifita was our best performer by some distance, Whitbread a solid but distant second.

I don't agree he's a distant second.
He made 33 tackles with no misses and ran 10 times for an average of 8 metres. And a try.

Fifita was immense though. 22 tackles with no misses and ran the ball 18 times for an average of 9 metres.
I can't imagine any other forward in the league doing that :

Actually i stand corrected. Walmsley did 19 for an average of 8 but did less tackles and missed one..

I’m not talking about the stats there, i’m talking about seeing it with my own eyes. He went ok but was a mile behind Fifita in effectiveness and the trouble he caused the opposition. The rest were bobbins.

It’s reassuring that at least some of the players are putting the effort in as when I watched it live it just seemed like a complete mishmash of errors and penalties whilst giving leeds cheap field position which ultimately cost us the game .I’ve got to believe that better times are around the corner and players are working hard to address the onfield problems as a way of justifying my undying allegiance to the club all these years

It's kinda weird that as poor as the results and the general 80 minute summary performances are I'm still enjoying many parts of our games. Being stood there watching at kick off for each fresh start remains as big a buzz as ever.

The best part of our game is the pre match, drinks in the local and some decent craic.
The games themselves are becoming more of a chore.
