Guess if BJB is signing, and maybe Moore, its looking less likely that well sign another halfback and one of Hall/Tansey will act as the backup when (not if) Finn breaks down.

Why will Finn break down, has no record of doing such.

Moore would be able to cover at half back too

Got a feeling we may sign another half back... Going with Miller & Finn with no recognized half back as back up is risky.
Hall can cover but we need an actually HB as cover

There is a suggestion on the Salford forum that BJB knocked us back expecting to be part of the deal taking Carney to Salford but now doesn't have much other option.

The guy who posted it seems to be in the know on most things to do with Salford and if so, not a ringing endorsement for us signing him

Pretty sure we were told last season that Anthony Mullally didn't want to play for us and look how that one turned out...

Hopefully that was down to Brian Smith's powers of persuasion

I would go one further, would like an half as first choice not cover. Let Finn and Miller fight cover out between themselves.

With BJB (which I have heard from good contact) plus the other players we have signed. Plus getting a conditioner who we assume actually knows what he is doing. I am looking forward to a much better season and think we will do better than many of us thought.

Well even you must have some doubts regarding his age and how long his legs will last. I think he's a useful addition to have especially when or if we face being in the middle eight again. But I would look for another halfback with Finn/Miller fighting it out over the other spot.

Plenty of pace in the backs and a bit of fight in the forwards. Get everyone one fit and it's game on.

Not far off what I'd go with that. I'm not his biggest fan, but I'd have Anderson over Walker and I'd like Annakin in there as well. Kirmond will need to up his game next year.
