Why should it stop the development of Gledhill, having a extra prop will give us chance to keep our forwards fresh and cover for the usual injuries. I suspect Gledhill will continue to get the occasional game time, which is enough for him in the first team atm.

I feel that this will benefit Gledhill in that he will gain from having experience and 'protection' around him and give him chance to develop at a prop's pace.

It would seem that Hickey was a rising star at the Dogs, but hasn't kicked on since 2009, so hopefully, he's coming to us with a load of pent-up aggression and a massive point to prove. If he's looking to play out the season with us to earn another NRL contract, that could well be the case.

What we do need is a barnstorming prop who can bust the line and put on massive hits that lift the team and the crowd; what we don't need is a half-baked Aussie failure who gives away too many penalties and doesn't want to be here.

Time will tell.

I also know nothing about him other than what I've read on here, but the view of our cheif Aussie scout spook2011 is good enough for me (G'day Andrew); unless he's wrong!

I suppose now Ted is gone he/she needs something else to moan about.

If all were fit we have a strong front row in Johnson, Hickey, King, Korkidas, Higgins and Gledhill, Kyle Trout needs to get his finger out or the championship beckons.

As for scrum half,
ATM I'd give Wildie an extended run in the 1st team and do loads of 1 to 1 coaching with him to develop his kicking game.
