| Just watched the highlights, others who have a better understanding of the game may be able to tell me, but in the run up the final Hull KR try is there a case for obstruction?

| I don't think any players were poor as has been stated by a few posters. We should have won the game but didn't, i'd take that over getting mullered and deserving nowt anyday. There was one other opportunity we had on their line that hasn't been mentioned and it was when we had a 3 on 2 and rather than slipping Collis into a gap 6/7 yards out the pass went to fox who was the covered man.
Over all pretty pleased the conditions were not conducive to good RL and yet I still thought we played some decent stuff at times. With a bit more composure we would have won against a very determined and capable KR side. Disappointed but optimistic going forward

| If it had been a boxing match, the ref would have stepped in and stopped the contest. We absolutely battered them in the second half and although, like most people, I was disappointed that we didnt win, the effort was certainly there.
KR only got in our half twice in the second half and scorde both times, but I think we will win games this season playing little worse than today.
Credit must be given to the KR defence, it was heroic.

| I thought it was a good effort and we were a little unlucky to get beat. We coughed up some silly ball which cost us in the end alongside some very good defence from KR. My only slight concern was how much we favoured attacking down our right hand side in the second half it seemed that every attack went that way. Positive signs yesterday and much better than the majority of last year.

| No complaints here - it was a great effort and we just lacked a bit of cohesion and killer instinct on their line; their defence in the second half was positively heroic, which blunted our attacking options quite significantly.
We made a couple of errors that were pivotal and we have to hope that more time together and more training sees things like that ironed out.
We certainly looked the fitter side and in particular the last 15 mins of each half, which is a big improvement on last season; I think that, coupled with speed and mobility of our pack and the class we've got available at hooker, will pay dividends on a dry track.
Bring on Bradford - hopefully the people of Wakefield saw enough to convince them to come back.

For all Raleigh's efforts he still gives away too many penalties. '"
3 penalties and 2 tries in 2 games will do for me.

Johnson and Cockayne stood out for me. For all Raleigh's efforts he still gives away too many penalties. Don't think Lautiti ever played the ball after a drive, he either lost it or threw away a stray pass.
Turning point was Washbrook's pass to the Hull KR player after picking up that loose ball on half way.'"
if we contimue to use Lautiti as we have done in the first 2 games he will be out for the season play him off the bench

I've been thinking the same thing, playing him for the length of time he has been doing isn't getting the best out of him. Perhaps injuries to Mariano and Amor have forced Agar's hand somewhat. A starting pair out of Kirmond, Mariano and Southern and bringing Lauitiiti on against tiring defences would be far more beneficial then how he's been used at the moment.

| I thought Hull KRs defence was outstanding, they took the few chances our defence offered to them and deserved the win
I was really happy with our performance though, only thing I can knock was our kicking game but I'm sure this will get better with time
While the Washbrook forced pass was defo the final turning point, if that pass had have come off we'd have gone the length of the pitch off the back of it, I understand why he pushed it as it could have turned it in our favour, thought he had another good game
I thought Kyle Wood looked excellent again, that little dummy kick then kick to touch was exceptional, hope we see much more of him this season
Also thought Paul Aiton was great, Smith Showed some of what I have seen him do for the sharks (although there is much more to come) and Jonson deserved the MOM
Bring on Bradford

Maybe so, but where would you play him.
Aiton looks like a top player and Wood has done pretty well when he's come on.
Unless you dropp Smith and start Wood, leaving Aiton and Ellis to share no 9 ?

| For me, we have gained an extra spark when Wood has come on, i'd play him in both halves though instead of the last 20 mins. He has definately played well enough to keep a place in the team

| I wouldn't mind seeing Aiton at 13, with Wood and Ellis sharing the 9 role against Bradford, that could be very effective.

| Wood certainly seems to have what Stevo would call the 'skill factor' - his little dummy kick on Sunday was a peach; reminiscent of a Benji move.
Hard to unseat Aiton though - the fella is pure class.

| Aiton was wasted at loose foward on Sunday. He is too effective at dummy half to be played anywhere else in my opinion.

| I Thought Aiton played really well at 13, thought he made a couple of very strong runs. If you ask me he looked better at 13 than he did at hooker. I think Ellis should get a run at hooker also with wood as an interchange. Then again what would happen with Washy ? Interchange ?

| I'd put Ali on the bench, partly for the impact and partly because he could burn out early on doing the stints he is. Southern could drop back into the second row and start with two from Amor, Johnson, Wilkes or Raleigh.

| Well for me Aiton is the choice at 9 and I would like to see Smith and Wood in the halves. If we have one good thing this year we have plenty of choices and players who can take the field and cover a few positions to very good standards
