Do you understand the invalidity of player contracts these days? What did you expect Kear to do? And how many Wakefield supporters were that upset at BJ's departure?
Kear cannot coach the basic skills of catching a ball and tackling. That is where the skill factor of our current squad has a problem.

It is one of our problems. There are far many more than that, that the coaching staff should be addressing. Its not surprising we are dropping the ball alot, its not as if the players get a lot of practice passing and catching with the 5 drives and a kick approach

Late last season we were 8th with what was still a pretty handy side. Now take a look at the last 5 games and our final position. Kear's teams give up the ghost far too easily, he's a 1 match man.

His contract would only have been invalid at the end of the season if we went down. We could have kept him if we wanted to and should have done. There were a number of fans who questioned the decision to let him go without an experienced replacement lined up.

Course its the coaches job to ensure the defence is up to the job. The problem is not just technique but the way the sliding defence works (its been like that for years under Kear). Both are things that the coach is paid to address

After 5 years of it you adapt! We've even had a bit more stability this season and no real hardship with injuries.

Players have to persistently go through the correct drills in order to develop, maintain and improve the motor skills that are required to play the game properly.

If those drills aren't part of our weekly regime, if the drills we do use aren't sophisticated enough or they're not being implemented in the correct manner then it would almost certainly result in dropped passes, knock ons and basic errors like that.

You can have the best defensive coach/system in the world but it still relies on players making tackles

If the players are not up to the required standard it also has the same result!

Yes but if coached better the players would make more tackles and therefore concede less points.

The game has moved on and Kear is out of his depth in the modern game. If he has got the most advanced coaching badges which I am sure I read he has, why can't he start putting it into practice?

Its funny how when we win against the odds its all down to King Kear but then when we are woeful against teams we should have a chance of beating its the players fault.

Dull as dishwater.Even when we were still in with a shout, we served up the same one out garbage. Johnson and Griffin coming in time and again to drive it down the middle. Wouldn't it be more sensible to have them on the wing where they belong and get the ball passed out to them?! 

I am sick of hearing "we only play like this because of the ability of the players we have in the team". 

1. We were dead and buried at Cas and didn't get out of that hole with 5 drives and a kick. We threw it about, got some momentum (which hasn't been seen since), and scored some great tries. The players that did that were the same players that played tonight. They have it in them, so why aren't they allowed to show it?!

2. A team coached by JK is a team renowned for being uneasy on the eye.

Gareth Moore's debut reminded me of Matty Wildie's debut at Huddersfield last year. He was played out of position at stand off, obviously told to stay out of the way. He was also clearly told to let Lee do the kicking. The same bloke who can't kick. What good does that do us?! JK has waxed lyrical all week about how good Moore's kicking is. Thought against using that asset then did we?! We have a bloke playing scrum half who isn't a scrum half, and a bloke playing stand off that is. The mind boggles.
