I hope he has a big family buying season tickets to watch him because his appeal now is nil. I cannot believe he is or was ever considered despite Vastman’s conversion to his benefits to us and for probably two years based solely on the game he played when we beat them at Hull.

No big game experience?
No winning mentally?
No knowledge of the game that would translate on the pitch?
Nothing at all to pass onto younger members of the team? Or older for that matter?
Wouldn't be the organiser that might allow Lino to play without pressure?

If Gale has signed I’d be ok with it. The lads played in a WC final, Grand final and Challenge cup final. That is priceless knowledge and experience to pass onto the team. No one who has left or signed in the last 30 years for us has that single playing experience. If he has signed he’ll have my support and hopefully would be playing with abit less pressure than at Hull FC.

I wouldn't mind signing Gale for just a season if only to pass on his skills to any aspiring stand off that we may pick up in the interim, in much the way that it was hoped Danny B would. Ok, he probably wouldn't be as mobile as he was, but as mentioned above his experience could make it worthwhile in the short term.
