I just don’t get this pseudo rivalry with Huddersfield.

In recent years it’s been with Cas, simply because we’re both very mediocre, before that it was always Leeds.

Page after page of sniping with a club that’s as removed to us, as say Warrington.

Fact is, they have a better team than us, they have a better Coach than us, they have a richer backer than us, however, their Coach will soon be on his way, their team will fragment & their backer will die.

Hopefully, our squad will improve & Newmarket gets built, crowds improve & we don’t have to rely on a Sugar Daddy.

Will be interesting to see if the money carries on for long at Huddersfield. I am sure constant shelling out and no silverware to show for it will take it toll at some point. Wasn't Glover persuaded to buy us by his Daughters? If so if he decides to take a back step they would like to carry on the good work he's been doing (but this is well down the track of course)

Sorry but not. Anderson has already been appointed as coach for next year- most of our squad are on 4/5 year deals and sir ken has set up a trust to ensure his rugby loving family continue to support the giants

to say most wakey fans dont treat us as rivals or indeed care about this fixture, there is a hell of a lot of bitterness still going on.
ATEOTD, all teams are rivals,on field rivals both wanting the 2 points.the fact that its usually huddersfield who have taken them from this fixture still grates with certain people on here.

however,as i said on our board, wakey seem to have the makings of a decent side this year and we could be about to enjoy some more closer games in the future.
lets hope the weather is nice for sunday as i usually enjoy my visits to the Emley ground

There is nobody else on these forums with such a passionate dislike for our club and who takes every opportunity to put the boot in. The way Cripesginger posts is exactly the same bitter bile that Marsden Giant used to post. Even now, despite all the postive things that have happened during the reign of AG, she still finds fault (instead of commending the club for making great strides forward in a relatively short space of time).

I get the feeling she/it was once a Trinity supporter or was/is from Wakefield who fell out with the club in spectacular fashion at some point- only turncoats in my experience feel the need to justify themselves with such bitter hatred to there old flame. I think she/it may even have been related to a previous Board member (not Ted) who fell out with the club (probably Ted). Very sad.
